Role Description
Every word in Aelyst is an interface. You will own the language of the product — from onboarding flows to AI agent defaults to error states — across English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Malay, making a technically deep platform feel simple to a busy SMB owner.
Responsibilities
- Own UX writing across the product: navigation, flows, empty states, errors, and notifications
- Build and maintain the product voice and terminology system across three languages
- Write and localize default AI agent prompts, templates, and automation recipes for the Indonesian and Malaysian markets
- Partner with Product and Engineering from design stage, not after
- Run content testing: do users understand it, and does it move activation metrics?
- Own help center information architecture and top articles
Qualifications
- 2+ years in UX writing, content design, or content strategy for a digital product
- Native-level Bahasa Indonesia or Malay, plus excellent English
- A portfolio showing interface copy that simplified something complex
- Systems thinking: you build terminology guides, not just one-off strings
- Comfort working in Figma alongside designers and reading product analytics
- Bonus: experience writing for AI products or conversational interfaces
